Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4th, 1981 in the United States is an American actress. Her roles in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful as well as in the television series Angela's eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are her most famous works. She is currently playing Amantha Holden in The Sundance Channel the drama Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress on films and on television. She became popular with her performances in the drama show Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless. She was born in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She started her career in acting in a soap opera All My Children. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as an Outstanding Female Newcomer. The following years she played primarily guest roles on several programs on television. She earned appreciation for her character of Dr. Erin Jameson in the television series Hawthorne. With the aid of her stunning looks and impressive acting skills she managed to build a large fan base. She first made her debut in film at 20 years old, playing her part in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks were other films in which she appeared. She earned a nomination to the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her part in the movie Beautiful Now'. The latest work she's done on TV has her playing the main character of the history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. The series has been praised by critics, and Spencer's character has landed her a nomination for the Teen Choice Award.
